TWO MILE TIME TRIAL...The Sequel
DATE: Saturday, October 23rd
BUS LEAVES: 9:00am...parents may drop athletes off at the Pinnacle or at the school.
BUS RETURNS: It doesn't. We will be jogging back down the hill. Parents may pick athletes up at 11:15am--at the high school.
RACE TIME: 10:00am
LOCATION: Pinnacle State Park
DISTANCE: 2.0 miles
WEATHER: At 9am it will feel like 33 degrees. Please dress in layers.
NOTE: J-T will also be there. This is an open race--open to the community. I haven't advertised it, but it is an open run (Mr. Burton?).

One heck of a job today. We lucked out with the rain missing us. Practice tomorrow (Saturday) at Acorn. Practice will run from 10am to about 11:15am.
If you miss practice you must call me at 377-9009 and let me know when you will be running your 60 minutes EASY this weekend.

TWO-MILE TIME TRIAL

BUS LEAVES: 3:10pm
BUS RETURNS: It doesn't. We will be running back down to the school via wooded trails. We should be back to school by 4:45pm at the latest.
WEATHER: 60% chance of showers with a 'feels like' temperature of 47 degrees.
LEAVE THE TEAM: Please quit the team if you are not giving 100% at practices and meets. You are a detriment to the team and it is time for you to go. Please don't embarrass our team. This is not directed toward any ONE individual. This is directed to anyone not trying their hardest. If you don't want to be here--we do not want you here, please leave ASAP.
NOTE: Pack a garbage bag and something dry for after the time-trial. The garbage bag will be used to keep us warm and dry on the way back down the hill. Mrs. Lyons will bring our 'dry stuff' and garbage bag up to the Pinnacle for us--in the ol' mini van.

NOTE: This counts in the battle for 'top 7'. We know the weather forecast in advance, ergo we should all be in appropriate clothing. We can pile extra clothes in Mrs. Lyons' mini-van for after the time trial. Wear spike if you have them.
